Junior Golf
The Junior Golf Program at Brook Valley in Greenville, NC is one of the best East of I-95. The Program begins every June with a 3-day clinic. That Clinic goes over the fundamentals of the golf swing, putting, chipping, bunker play, and etiquette. Juniors between the ages of 7 and 18 are eligible to participate with two PGA Professionals educating the juniors. Following the camp, each Thursday throughout the summer from 9:00am - 11:00am, is BVCC Junior Play Day. The play days are beneficial in many ways. Juniors will interact with other juniors, learn the rules of golf, and have the chance to play on the best golf course in the area.
Junior Travel League (Ages 10-18) - This travel league is always fun for the juniors. They will go to other courses and play for free. Some courses include Roanoke, Greenville, Washington, Ironwood, and Birchwood. What a wonderful way to let the juniors play other courses at no charge!
Swing and Swim - This fun event is a really great way for the juniors’ to enjoy a “huge success” and is an excellent way to meet parents and other juniors. The juniors play a few holes and then go take a dip in the Brook Valley pool.
Parent/Child - The Parent/Child is always a huge success, with over 20 teams participating in the event every year. This is a nine-hole event, playing alternate shot with a light dinner following play. What a great time!
Junior Club Championship (Ages 7-18) - This is the best in the Greenville area. There are always about 20-35 kids that participate in this event! There will be different tees for different ages! It’s a fun time for the kids to show off all the hard work they have put forth throughout the summer. It is a huge Success!
Junior Awards Banquet - This is generally held every September. It is the time for the juniors to show off their hardware and just have fun with the other juniors. All of the juniors who participated in the Junior Golf Camp, Junior Travel League, and those who won tournaments will be recognized on this special night!
